New feature - Upgrade users from Smart Meter to Real Time

For customers with an Insight Plus platform, an upgrade to the Insight Active platform is needed to use this feature.

This feature supports the journey of Smart Meter data users to upgrade towards Real-Time data and receive insights of higher accuracy. End users can continue utilizing the Activity Level disaggregation feature plus they unlock the Appliance Disaggregation feature, Energy Events, and more services that are only applicable to Real-Time data.

Key points of the Upgrade Feature:

• User-friendly journey to upgrade

• Intact profile information & configurations

• Historical Smart Meter data retention (until mandates are revoked or expired)

End users can now:

• Have the option to start using NET2GRID's low-cost services with Smart Meter data and can choose to upgrade to more detailed energy insights

• Have faster and more efficient response times to events based on real-time information & more immediate understanding of how their household’s energy is used

• Monitor their energy consumption and proceed to cost saving actions

Energy retailers can now:

• Increase customer engagement & provide top-quality energy insights

The combination of the SM & RT time series/streams can be managed only by the App.
