Submetering Feature in NET2GRID EnergyAI

We have introduced Submetering functionality into NET2GRID EnergyAI to support the integration of data from secondary meters and telematics, commonly used for monitoring or controlling specific DERs, such as EVs, PV systems, and HVAC.

Key Features

Submetering Data Integration

Upload data from dedicated meters or submeters (with readings >15 minutes) to monitor appliances such as:

• Electric Vehicles (EVs)

• Solar Panels (PV)

• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

• Air Conditioning (HVAC)

• Heat Pumps

This data is incorporated into NET2GRID EnergyAI, providing full transparency on the energy usage of these appliances, while improving the overall energy consumption breakdown of the household. 

Profile Automation on NET2GRID EnergyAI Active

User installation profiles are automatically updated when submetering data for undeclared appliances is uploaded.

Selective Data Handling

Submetering data for supported appliances is fully utilized for detailed disaggregation. Data from other appliances can also be stored though it won’t be automatically used for disaggregation. However, this data contributes to improving NET2GRID’s AI models, enhancing the overall disaggregation quality.
