What's New

  • Real-time Power Alerts on the Edge

Users can now receive real time notifications instantly when their power consumption or production surpasses a predefined threshold.
This way, users can be alerted on time to avoid overloads that could lead to fuse blowouts. Prosumers will also be notified when excess energy is being injected into the grid, allowing for adjustments to increase self-consumption and reduce energy costs.

The alerts are available for both single and multi-phase installations, with the option to configure up to two separate thresholds per phase.

To help you adopt this new feature in your applications via our CE-API, we have created this comprehensive guide.

Improvements

  • EnergyAI Core can now process additional energy input streams from dedicated meters that explicitly measure specific DER assets like EV, BESS, PV or HVAC and potentially are not available in the mains stream.
Customers can ingest this data as CSV files and EnergyAI will make use of it to provide more accurate disaggregation. This way the end users will obtain a more holistic view of their energy consumption breakdown.

  • Customers using EnergyAI Core, can now categorize their user base into isolated groups named label-partners, based on regional or other structural criteria. This can increase security as each group can be managed and accessed separately. Additionally, a variety of settings can be defined for each label-partner, like the default household profiles, default timezone etc.

  • Support Portal:

    • Last 24hour connection status of the users' hardware is now available. Support agents can more easily spot issues with the connection of the smart bridge with the platform.

    • Visual enhancements in the fields showing the connection status, including more information about the resets and reconnects of the devices.

    • A detailed graph will now appear when hovering over the fields of WiFi RSSI & LoRa signal strength, showing the historical values.

  • EnergyAI Core users provisioning information to NET2GRID via BAM-API can now add multiple options under the space heating and water heating categories in their installation profiles.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the capacity peaks configuration & retrieval was failing for a few users.

  • Fixed a bug where the pairing between the Smart Bridge and Smart Reader devices would intermittently fail, affecting users utilizing this specific hardware setup.
