NET2GRID EnergyAI® Active Gen2 Release Notes - v4.3.0
What's New
Time-of-Use and Dynamic Tariffs
Energy markets are increasingly moving toward Time-of-Use (ToU) and Dynamic tariffs. EnergyAI now calculates energy costs based on each end user's actual tariff instead of assuming flat pricing, giving end users accurate cost insights and preparing your offering for advanced tariff programs and future flexibility services.
EnergyAI supports Fixed, Variable, Time-of-Use and Dynamic (hourly or quarter-hourly) tariffs for offtake and feed-in.
The feature is available by default for all Active Gen2 customers. To enable cost calculations, provide NET2GRID with your end users' tariff definitions via the B2B tariff file importer. See the Tariff Importer documentation for details.
Key Benefits:
Accurate energy costs: End users see an accurate cost representation of their energy consumption and feed-in, based on their actual tariff.
Solar savings and earnings: Users with PV get improved cost insights, including self-consumption savings and feed-in earnings.
Contract details: Users can see the details of their energy contract.
Always up-to-date history: Historical costs are retroactively updated when tariff corrections occur.
Support visibility: Support agents can view the tariff definitions that apply to a given installation.
For more details on how to adopt this new functionality, refer to the complete feature documentation.
Improvements
Improved the speed and robustness of CE-API endpoints that retrieve high-resolution power measurements by refining how these measurements are stored in the cache.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where most installations received low Always-On Breakdown.
Fixed an issue that prevented solar and appliance event reports from being generated for a specific platform.
